We will also be celebrating Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) before breaking up for the holidays. We will do this by making our own pancakes and reading ‘Mr Wolf’s Pancakes’.

Where Will My Rocket Take Me?

In Reception this half term we are learning all about space. We will be learning all about the different planets in space and planning our own space adventures.

The first book we are learning about is ‘The Way Back Home’. This can be accessed below via the links below. There is a read aloud and also an animation of this story.

Our key books are by an author called Oliver Jeffers.

We will also look at the book ‘The Colour Monster’, which is all about different feelings associated to different colours. With this book we will explore how all of these feelings are normal and how to deal with these feelings.
